God is Love
Welcome
Nestling in the north of Staffordshire along its border with Derbyshire, the villages of the Longnor Benefice encompass the Peak District and the Moorlands, with rolling hills and acres of heather.
There are seven churches within the benefice, along with three Church of England Primary Schools.
Our Mission
We believe that the door to salvation is always open and so are the doors to our churches.
We strive to show God’s love and concern for his creation at every opportunity.
Through works of charity and opening our doors to listen and love, we feel that we are walking in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.
Weddings
Our churches offer a traditional setting for your most sacred celebration.
Services
Services are held somewhere in the benefice every Sunday, though not every church has a service each week.
Worship varies in style between the different congregations, but all are welcoming.
Please refer to our Downloads page for the latest calendar showing church services in the benefice

Safeguarding
The PCC of each church has resolved to follow the Diocesan Safeguarding Policy. You can find out more by visiting lichfield.anglican.org/safeguarding or our downloads section.
Our Benefice Safeguarding Officer is Janet McNicol 01298 812053
Our Logo

Designed by Leon Shufflebotham of juicegraphics.co.uk, our logo represents our benefice: the Cross is the tree of life; its leaves our churches, schools and villages; the circles the 'seen and unseen', reminding us of God's power and love; and the hills and rivers reflecting our physical environment.
